05th South Asia – China Friendship Forum held in Chengdu China from 13-15th September 2017.

Sri Lanka China Buddhist Friendship Association (SLCBFA )took part in the 05th South Asia – China Friendship Forum held in Chengdu China from 13-15th September 2017 . This forum  brought together all prominent friendship  Organizations of China from India, Pakistan , Sri Lanka, Bangladesh , Nepal and Maldives was Organised by the Chinese People’s Association For Friendship with Foreign Countries and Organization for South Asia Regional Friendship ((CPAFFC) and Cooperation  with China (OSARFCC).

This forum was declared open by the Governor of Sichuan Province and Madam Lin Yi Vice President – CPAFFC and Mr Anoop Ranjan Bhattarai President of OSARFCC with the participation of Mr .Zhao Ping President of Sichuan Provincial People’s Association For Friendship with Foriegn Countries (SIFA) .

SLCBFA was represented by Mr Sumathi Dharmawardena Hon President and Mr Sudath Madugalle The General Secretary . Mr.Dharmawardena made a presentation of SLCBFA activities at the forum .

Ms W. Inoka Weerasinghe Third Secretary of the Embassy of Sri Lanka in China represented H. E . The Ambassador of Sri Lanka to China at this forum .

在2017年 9月 14日-15日 在成都举行的“第五届中国-南亚文化论坛 ” 中，斯中佛教友好协会受邀参加了这次会议。同时出席这次会议的有四川省省长，中国对外友好协会秘书长林怡女士(madam Lin Yi)南亚中友好协会会长 Mr. Anoop Rajan Bhattrai,四川省对外友好协会会长赵平先生 (Mr. Zhao Ping) 。 斯中佛教友好协会会长 Mr.Sumathi Dharmawardena 和秘书长 Mr.Sudath Madugalle 也参加了这次会议。

Sri Lanka China Buddhist Friendship Association and Sichuan Provincial Peoples Association For Friendship with Foriegn Countries signed an agreement to promote friendship between Sichuan and Sri Lanka at the conclusion of this forum .
Mr. Zhao Ping the President of SIFA and Mr Sumathi Dharmawardena Hon President of SLCBFA signed this agreement amidst the gathering .
