Sri Lanka Buddhist Delegation led by Most Ven Karagoda Maithri Moorthi Mahanayaka thero of the Amarapura Sangha Sabawa attended 06th World Buddhist Forum held in Ningbo , China . Buddhist delegations from 72 countries took part in 05th World Buddhist Forum from 15th to 17th June in Xikou a scenic mountain city of Ningbo organised by the Buddhist Association of China under the theme “ Hand in hand For coexistence “ .

Most Ven Maithri Moorthi Mahanayaka thero addressing the 05th World Buddhist Forum reminisced the contribution made by Ven Fa Xian thero who lived in Sri Lanka for over 2 years and took Dhamma text book to China to propagate Buddhism in China and the age old Buddhist Freindship between Sri Lanka and China .
