Sri Lanka China Buddhist Friendship Association (SLCBFA) with assistance of the Embassy of The People’s Republic of China in Sri Lankan will donate Chairs , Public Address Systems and Computers to needy Dhamma Schools In Sri Lanka at 9.30am on 19th January at Lakshman Kadirgamar Center For International Relations , Colombo 07. The Fourth program of “ Dhaham Pasal” will assist over 20 Dhamma Schools and Schools . In addition assistance will made available to construct “Dharma shalawa” ( sermon hall ) to develop Dhamma education .

Most Ven Dr Ittapane Dhammalankara Thero , Chief Priest Of Kotte Chapter Of Siyam Mahanikaya and Chancellor Of University Of Sri Jayawardenapura will grace the occasion as chief Guest .

SLCBFA has constructed three Water Purification plants in areas affected by chronic kidney disease in rural areas in Sri Lanka with the assistance of Buddhist Association of China and Embassy of China in Sri Lanka.

Sri Lanka and China has strong Buddhist Friendship for over 1600 years . Famous Chinese Buddhist monk Fa Hshien Thero lived at Abhayagiri Monastery for a period over three years and learned Buddhism in 05th Century BC.
