The celebration of 68^th National day of People’s Republic of China was organized by the Association of Sri Lanka China Social and Cultural Corporation (ASLCSCC) headed by its president Mr.  Indrananda  Abeysekara, with the participation of Hon Chandima Weerakkody,  Minister of the Skills Department who graced the occasion as the Chief of Guest and Ambassador of Peoples Republic of China in Sri Lanka His Excellency Yi Xianliang and Minister of Tourism and Christian Affairs Hon John Amarathunga graced the occasion as Guest of Honors.

Sri Lanka China Buddhist Friendship Association at the above ceremony organized by the ASLCSCC conducted the 2^nd phase of the Assistance to “Needy Dhamma Schools” program and donated public address systems and 50 chairs to following Dhamma Schools sponsored by the Embassy of the Peoples Republic of China and Jing Ci Temple of Hangzhou, China.
